Utility Services
Utility Services is another area of expertise at Trans Texas Surveying & Mapping. We have a history of locating underground utilities in urban areas as we use WEIT (What ever it Takes) to get the proper location and dept of cover on pipelines and utilities. We survey and map utilities above and below the ground. Utilities already in the ground that need to be mapped for compliance and inventory, or any other needs. Our field crews are innovative and well equipped with ground penetrating radar, hydro excavation, and the latest in all technologies to locate and map utilities above and subsurface.
We use all current technologies, and our experience to find the utilities, map them, and provide the data to our clients in any format they want. This is another function where GIS and Surveying have synergized and allowed us to excel in our field.
Utility Right of Way Surveying
ROW Surveys are needed for a variety of needs. Our focus has always been on energy, utilities, and water. We perform these surveys the same as we do for any utility, surveying the tracts of land involved, and providing plats and legal descriptions for each tract. This is accelerated with the use of our in-house GIS, which allows us to help the client know what options they have, and assists in helping the clients to make the best decisions for new ROW routes.
Pipeline Locating & Depth Verification Surveys
Trans Texas Surveying & Mapping is known for our history in oil and gas, and we have also worked with water, waste water, and fiber optic in our past. We have the technology to locate underground utilities and survey them related to state plane coordinates, providing repeatable earth addresses.
