Land Surveying Services
We routinely create working sketches from the deeds and legal descriptions that comprise the properties we survey. These working sketches are what we use to help create the best information for our field crews to locate the original called for evidence. Our internal GIS greatly enhances the quality of the job preparation as we have many original corners and other pertinent data geo-referenced in our geospatial file cabinet. We rely on the patented field notes from the Texas General Land office, and the working sketches that state surveyors create to ensure we retrace the original abstracts and subdivisions in our boundary surveys.
We add data to our geospatial file cabinet known as our GIS each day as all of our work is done on repeatable State Plane Coordinates.
Topographic surveys are needed to locate ample elevation data and will show all improvements, swells, and the slopes of the land in order to create a three dimensional map of the project, and show contour lines to an accuracy of ½ foot or whatever the client needs.
From our start in the Barnett Shale, Trans Texas Surveying & Mapping have created the reputation for “urban oil and gas surveying specialists” as we provided services in the North Texas area and surrounding cities, all of which have different laws and ordinances over the past three years since our formation.
We create metes and bounds for all projects that involve any boundary data, after completing the field work. The legal description is one of the two ways we communicate to our clients and the public as these documents are recorded in the county they exist. All legal descriptions are produced as the result of “on-the-ground surveys of the evidence that is also shown on our plats and maps.
We provide Boundary Surveys for projects ranging from ROW acquisition, leases, easements, including well locations, pipelines, and conveyances. No job is too large, and we do not deal with residential lot surveys or elevation certificates. Our focus on the Energy, and Utilities market segments has proven to be our strength in rural and dense urban environments.Read more: Boundary Surveys
