Windfarm Boundary & Construction Surveying
WEST COMPANY and TRANS TEXAS have teamed to complete the boundary surveying and all construction and as-built surveying for a NEXTERA Energy WIND FARM. This project is on the Texas/Oklahoma border and covers over 50 square miles. This is an area of Texas where there area many square or near square sections as the State traded the Railroad companies land for building tracks for commerce.
Texas is a unique State in many ways and surveying where there are so many squares validates the uniqueness of land surveying in Texas. In addition to the services mentioned above, TEAM WEST is also providing permitting documentation for crossings and engineering support.
This project began last fall, and is expected to be completed after the first of 2013.This project has created opportunities for TEAM WEST and TRANS TEXAS to synergize and grow our company in a new sector of the energy industry.
We use one ATV and two crews on the ground full-time for this project. Real Time Leica1200 GPS is being used for Surveying and mapping. All data is sent to Cleburne office for calculation and completion of exhibits, plats, surveys, and spreadsheets that TEAM WEST delivers via this teamwork approach.

Vantage Energy Lease Surveys
Vantage Energy based in Colorado and actively drilling well locations in the Barnett Shale has been a great client.
There are two extremely complicated lease units that have beeen surveyed and are located near IH20 in South Arlington, Texas. This means litteraly hundreds of parcels as much of the area is residential subdivisions and some is industrial, along with a creek "village creek" that has been around since the early days of Panther City, know known as Fort Worth, Texas.Surveying & Engineering
